Leading hope in a similar race. CEE CEE LOU (1) settled close to the pace but didn't find enough in the end and could only manage eighth last start over 2240m at Melton, that effort coming after a solid second at Mt Gambier the run before. Has the benefit of a good draw. Finds a suitable assignment and can bounce straight back to form. KATHYS FREE (7) is in the mix following a fourth at her most recent appearance over 2230m at Globe Derby Park. DON ARTHUR (5) has place claims after turning in a better effort last start to finish third at Gawler over 1609m.
