Ascot Race 10 - Schweppes (Bm66+)

MALLETIER (4) made it back-to-back wins last start when saluting as the race favourite in this grade. The form out of that race has worked out well and Pike returns to the saddle now. Looks a nice gelding on the way up and he can extend his winning run. WHEELY (13) is another in winning form, looking for the hat-trick as he comes back to 1200m today. He drops down in weight as he tackles BM66+ company now, taking on the older horses. Looks a progressive type and he can make a statement. HORCRUX (2) just missed in a stronger race last start and now gets Zahra in the saddle. Should be prominent in the run from a good draw and he'll be tough to run down if he can run to recent form. GI GI POPS (11) missed narrowly fresh and can improve second-up and out in distance. SIR DREAMALOT (6) is third-up now and can feature with the aid of an inside draw.
