Ascot Race 8 - W.a. Sires' Produce Stakes (G3)
The feature of the day now and BEATTY (2) goes on top. He was a good thing licked in the Karrakatta after bombing the start with the blinkers on first time. He flew late though on the back of a hot tempo, showing the 1400m won't be an issue. Can go one better this time around. AFIREOFGIDGEECOALS (1) won the Karrakatta with a strong performance on the back of a hot tempo. He was holding BEATTY to the line and there wasn't much between them in the run. Has some early speed too so there's options for Fiore and he can repeat the dose in the Sires'. JEDI DREAM (10) flew home in the Karrakatta from well back in a hidden run behind the winner. The 1400m journey looks right up her alley and while she's likely to be back in the run again, she can make her presence felt. CLEAR APPROVAL (5) brings a different formline in and bolted in at this trip last time out. Plenty to like about him. VINNY NAY (8) is next best following a strong debut performance.
