Ascot Race 4 - Croser Sparkling Plate
MARK THE SKY (3) just missed on debut when flashing late in the race over 1100m. He should be able to take closer order this time and will be better for the debut performance. Has shown plenty of talent despite the fresh defeat and with CJP on board now, he can go one better. HE'S A MACHINO (1) comes through the Karrakatta where he wasn't disgraced from up on a strong tempo. Back to 1000m now is a query, but his form over this trip on the fresh side has been good. Should be close to the speed from an inside alley and be tough to run down with Riordan's claim. MYSTIC SMILE (8) looked very impressive in a recent trial and makes plenty of appeal on resumption. Bumped into Beatty on debut where she didn't pull up the best. Trials either side of the debut suggest she has talent and a forward showing is expected. ANACONDA JONES (2) can build on a good maiden win last time out. LEVATI DIMEZZO (6) bolted in at the trials recently and is sure to have some fans on debut.
