Ascot Race 4 - Pps Water Group (Rs1mw)
PRINCE OF DALA (2) tested himself in the Belmont Guineas before the break and almost knocked off Hot And High as an $11 chance. He looked good in his recent trial coming in and maps to get every chance on his return. Can return at a similar level and make a statement. EMPIRE OF ROME (8) continues to build nicely with racing, scoring by 1.4L last start when out to 1400m for the first time at Belmont. An inside draw this time is interesting as he got back last start, but he seems an adaptable commodity. Down in the weights and can play a leading role. MARCOS (5) comes through a handy 3YO Open race last start where he stuck on well from midfield. He drops in weight coming into this race and his last win was in this grade. Can be in the finish. WOLF WHISTLE ZEL (6) can raise the bar again stepping up to 1400m. SHE'S A SPLINTER (9) won nicely last start in easier company and has claims coming up to 1400m.
