SHOCKING MALICE (1) last appeared three weeks ago when he scored by 2.25 lengths over 1006m at this track. Should stay out of trouble in the small field and is sure to play a big role. COAL BOY (2) returns from a spell of nine months. Could only manage fifth, beaten 12 lengths, when resuming last prep at this track over 1006m. Cannot be ruled out due to the field size.
