Very competitive race for the Country Discovery - daresay most can win. We'll side with GEEGEES MISTRUTH (7) who hasn't had things go her way this time in. The fresh run over 1000m was very good before taking no part in the Oakleigh Plate. She was in the right part of the track in the Newmarket last time but still ran a solid race and this is a fair bit easier. VERDOUX (14) is the progressive one. He wasn't given a great ride last time at Caulfield when just swamped late but had been impressive in two wins prior. He can measure up. OAK HILL (2) couldn't get into the Oakleigh Plate with a big weight. The win prior was sharp, he's got the turn of foot to be charging at them here. DON'T HOPE DO (9) is a speedy type who is racing well. He'll take catching. SHE'S BULLETPROOF (4) was better second up and would go close at her best.
