BEST TERMS (1) is nearing a win and looks to have found an ideal race to be breaking through here. He's placed in all three runs this time in, just finding one narrowly better at Werribee last time out. He can roll forward here and only needs to hold his form to be winning. LE BEAU GOSSE (2) is the danger, coming through a handy race at Warrnambool last time when well supported. An extra 100m suits nicely and he draws well. STEAL AWAY (9) made good improvement at Pakenham at her second outing on wet ground. Off that run, 1500m should suit nicely and she can improve again. POPEYE (3) is off a let-up and with a new camp but could sneak into the finish with TOURELLO (5), a gelding by Yulong Prince on debut who at least has no convictions.
