BELCONY (10) is a strong chance after consecutive BM66 thirds on soft tracks, beaten just over half a length at Sale last start and just over a length at Geelong before that. She is proven at the distance and Jake Noonan has a sound record on her, drawn for every hope. TILL QUEEN (2) resumes off two trials and has a strong overall record, with her Bendigo BM62 win two runs ago supported by a solid fifth in F BM70 company at the Heath. Should take beating. BIT OF SHOOSH (1) resumes after a consistent last campaign and maps well midfield. He may want a touch further but should be sharp enough to figure. BLACK ACES (6) is lightly raced off a maiden win at Warrnambool, scoring by two lengths. Can go on with it now.

Broke through in good style at Warrnambool last start, winning a Mdn by two lengths as favourite in an open market and proving too strong from the top of the straight. His previous seventh at this venue over 1200m was better than it reads, picking up late after an awkward start at big odds. John Allen stays with him and the Maher stable is strong at this track. Harder now, but the stable and rider angles keep him in the mix.
