The scratchings have decimated this race, opening the way for BACK ON DE QUO (7) who comes here off a seven-week let-up. Good fresh performer who has won three from four here at this distance, two of them coming in November at the start of this interrupted campaign. Trust any issues have been ironed out - is ideally credentialled. GAYLORD (1) is trialling well and poses a threat first-up from a 160-day spell. Raced very well last prep, the first under Matt Dunn who took the gelding in following a 16-month lay-off. Can go on to better things this time in work. MOFEED (3) is back after a 19-week break. Goes well fresh and is yet to miss the placings in three runs here, two of them at today's distance. Should be ready to run a forward race following a recent trial win at Lismore. CHARLOTTE'S HERE (9) struggled with the pressure of an 800m race at Ipswich when first-up from a spell recently. Expect a better run under today's conditions. Can't make a case for KYOGLE KID (11).
