MARITIMO (4) trialled well here and resumed at Doomben, and it wasn't a bad effort. Missed a whisker three stats back at Ipswich on debut, so has the ability. Draws an inside gate, and with the extra fitness, this is winnable on his home track. LOS ALAMITOS (3) missed a whisker three back at Eagle Farm this distance but has been plainer in similar races the two since. Likely had excuses last time. A winning chance in easier company. BOSS LOGIC (1) debuts with a 4kg claim and owns an easy 1200m Deagon trial win. Has the blinkers on and this is a suitable kicking off point. Keep a close eye on the betting. Ditto with LEICA LEMON (5) who resumes with a 2kg claim and a handy gate and will be naturally improved. MILDURA LAD (11) resumed better just missing over a shorter sprint at Ballina. Has the outside gate to manage but won't be far away.
