BLUE SPARX (4) showed enough on debut when sitting handy and finishing 1.8L off a nice type who has since run well in Saturday grade. The wide draw this time hurts, though Fiore replaces the apprentice hoop and his formline looks very strong. Can go a couple better. SLATERS LEGACY (11) has shown good promise at the trials, winning a trial recently under Carbery. She looks a nice type on debut and Carbery has options from the draw. Can make an immediate impact. RAW UMBER (6) has only had one trial in readiness for his debut where he was good. O'Donnell's claim comes in handy and means he'll get in light at the weights. Can make an impression in what looks a suitable race on debut. SUREFIRE MISS (12) finds the right race on debut and can feature in the finish despite drawing wide.
