ALABAMA HUSSY (7) gets the nod off two better runs than the form figures suggest, with the Bathurst fifth coming after she raced wide throughout as a well-supported favourite and the Goulburn fifth before that having merit when held up late and beaten a length and a half. The BM58 reference last start is useful, and she looks well placed to turn those near misses into a stronger result. DIVINE SECRETS (2) is the main danger, returning from five weeks off after a close fourth at Goulburn where she was bumped at the start and raced keenly, while her two wins from two starts at this track give her a strong local profile. REGOR (1) has won his past two, including a Class 1 at Nowra as a well-supported favourite, and barrier one with Nick Heywood back aboard keeps him firmly in the race. DEEPLY (5) has been plain at her last two, but Pierre Boudvillain going back on is significant given their record together and her proven form at this venue gives her a sound place case.
