SAYTARA (8) is starting to hit her straps for Gai and Adrian. Led and gave a kick but found a couple better last start over 1400m at Warwick Farm. Should get an easy time up front and with three runs now under the belt this prep she will be peaking. LORRIE BELLE (6) settled back and couldn't improve last time out over 1400m at Warwick Farm. Probably looking for more ground at this stage and the addition of blinkers for the first time could be a game changer. DEFENDANT (3) made it three minor placings from four career runs when he worked home well to finish a close third over this course and distance a fortnight ago. Beautifully drawn and McDonald sticks so a breakthrough win is on the cards. VIVA MAURICIO (2) made a late charge along with DEFENDANT here last time and edged this evening's rival out of second spot. Loves racing here and is right in contention again. FEAZABEEL (1) was safely held first-up at the Farm but can improve with the shades going on.
