TORONADO QUEEN (3) might be the sharp improver here. The first up win was dominant at Cranbourne before fading badly down the Flemington straight in the Inglis Sprint. Fancy back around a bend here she can bounce back quickly. WINTERY (1) also comes through a race down the straight, behind Educated. She was solid there and the second to Alpha Sophie prior reads well. She maps well. PURPLE STREAK (5) is the big query in the race, off a dominant debut win at Werribee where she scored by 5.5 lengths. He maps for every chance from the gate and it feels like the sort of race for different form to emerge. ROHESIA (2) was okay in the Inglis Sprint and has claims while HIGH ON THE HILL (6) is off an easy maiden win and could measure up.
