BLIND RAISE (3) was given a great ride on speed to win the McKenzie Stakes first up at Sandown Hillside, heavily supported there and coming away to win well from WOLF GAP (5) who was given a very quiet time of it out the back before flashing late once the race was over. BLIND RAISE will roll forward and prove very hard to run down again; WOLF GAP can sit closer and with a bit more intent can turn the tables. AMERICAN EAGLE (2) is unbeaten in two starts. He had a perfect run to win the McNeil Stakes here fresh and not sure that's the A1 form but he can improve again. SERAPHOX (7) was good in third there and should relish the rise in trip. ALCHEMISTIC (9) won a maiden nicely last time, this is a good test.
