Charles Town Race 5 - Race 5 - Mdn Special Weight
PURELY AUTHENTIC (4) Career debut 2yo by Authentic for Stacey R Viands. Keep your eye on the market. SAWYER'S SONG (6) Picked up late ground when 2nd beaten by 7L last run at this venue and facing an increased distance. Should muster plenty of early toe. Should be right in the finish. BE MY IDOL (1) Edged past some when finishing 5th last start at the track and was on debut last time. Has the ideal draw. Racing over more ground. Likely threat. MAXWELL'S CROWN (5) Didn't find the line when 6th last time at this venue but having second career run. Going over more ground. Marginal chance.

Jumped at $23.00 and looked outclassed when 8th last run at Mountaineer Park but gets a favourable draw. Prefers to settle towards the tail. Rising in trip. Better to look elsewhere.

Started $16.00 and was nothing special when 7th last time around here but fitter for debut run. Likely to get back. Facing a rise in trip. Has some claims.

At $28.00 subpar when 6th last time at this venue but racing over extra ground. Jockey Jose Y Diaz and trainer Tyler S Shanley should be taken seriously together. Needs significant improvement.
