Charles Town Race 5 - Race 5 - Mdn Special Weight
DOUBLES ALLEY (8) Came on strongly to finish 3rd when beaten by 3 1/4L last run around here and was on debut last time. Jeff C Runco stable are running hot lately. Can win this. WATER SLIDE (9) 2yo debutant sired by Early Voting for Cynthia E Mckee. Follow the money. ASHLEY H (6) Gave ground late when 4th last run at Laurel Park but dropping back to a shorter trip. Jockey Jeiron Barbosa and trainer Anthony Farrior have a high strike rate together. Can get the job done. WHACKY WITCH (2) Didn't attack the line when 7th last time at Laurel Park. Should improve from the last run and will try to take advantage of the gate. Will be competitive.

Jumped at $7.50 and struggled with the pace when 7th last time at Laurel Park. Should improve from the last run and gets a favourable barrier. Dropping in distance. Can measure up against these.

Jumped at $28.00 and performed below standard when 7th last start at Meadowlands and will be dropping in distance. Likely to settle back in the field. Hard to see this being good enough.
