TOUGH AS STONE (2) Astern gelding from the good producing mare Dal Dal on debut for the Matt Dale yard. Failed to fire in two trials for the Les Bridge yard and can play a leading role in this company. UNDER WRAPS (4) resumes after starting $1.65 fav on debut with a disappointing seventh over 1000m at Wagga last December. Had excuses on that occasion and looks to have strengthened with the one 1000m trial placing. Top-three contender. MY MATE ELVIS (10) only the one placing from eleven starts and back in trip today. Can stalk the good tempo and take a hand in the finish.
