FURY (3) continues to improve with more time to adapt to racing in this State, and he has won his last couple of starts very easily. This is another test for him, but with 3.5kg less to carry, the hat-trick beckons. ROSSANADO (2) has made a bright start to this campaign, and she was a soft winner in this class last time out over 1300m. She has to shoulder an extra 4kg over 300m further this time, but must still be respected. Go again. HENNESSY LAD (5) is a consistent gelding at this level, and he will appreciate the step up to 1600m. A 2kg claim will see him get in nicely with a light weight, and he has top 3 claims. BAROCCO BAR (4) has been recently racing with success in Northern Queensland on the picnic circuit there, and his form here is also good. A 3kg claim should ensure that he will be very competitive again. GRAVINA (1) drops in class third up from a spell, and he should be kept very safe, as his best form is good enough to win this.
