LITTLE EL (1) has raced in Stakes grade her last two over middle distances. Was a big Hobart mile winner leading into those and was unlucky prior. Maps well and can manage the drop in trip. Sure to appreciate the easier company and deserves another chance. BRIGHT NIGHT (5) has also been racing over longer, including Stakes grade. Has raced well here over a mile and is on a 5-day return. Can make the finish in this line-up. ALPINE HONEY (3) is also on a quick turnaround out of the same contest. Impressed at Hobart winning his Maiden over this distance and maps for the run of the race and gets in well with the 3kg claimer sticking aboard. BELLSPROUT (4) has not won for a long while but has improved markedly his last two in this grade over 1400m. Has a low gate and has to be considered.
