Eagle Farm Race 5 - Become A Brc Member Hcp
DRAGONNE ROUGE (3) has contested two Listed races since returning from a spell and has settled too far back to be a force on either occasion. Won the Listed Calaway Gal over this course and distance third-up last prep. Only needs to find that sort of form to be taking this out. MRS GOLDBERG (8) surprised a few pundits when she led all the way and held out subsequent winner Fabulantes over this distance at the Sunshine Coast last time out. Has only raced three times so there is plenty more in the locker. Dual stakes winner SUNRAYS (1) was outsprinted when resuming over 1000m here a fortnight ago. Watch for a much better run from a good gate over the extra 200m. BRUTAL MISS (6) started favourite in the MRS GOLDBERG race last start but settled back and was never in the hunt. Lines up for just the third time so deserves another chance. SHADWELL LANE (9) showed a glimpse of form in a good race last time out and with the light weight she makes each-way appeal.
