MILITARY TYCOON (9) is ready to return, having mixed it in the G3 Gold Coast Guineas and run fourth in the LR Mick Dittman Plate at this track during her last campaign. Has been fitted with two nice trials and keeps Maloney piloting. Bold showing anticipated. INCOGNITO (4) is an intriguing runner third-up and tackles his easiest grade in some time, though has a good tussle on his hands in the Tycoon. Was better second-up at Warwick Farm and if he gets back to his best third-up he's sure to be there at the business end. TEQUILA BABY (12) has been knocking on the door, beaten half a length by SHAKO after covering ground at Sunshine Coast, and her Randwick run prior had merit when she was restricted late. In the mix but would have to go up another run or two to threaten the top two. BENZOU (15) returns off a long break but looks progressive enough. Maybe later. STRAAND BEAUTY (13) has trialled strongly in readiness and can make his presence felt.

Had some excuses when seventh in a CG Class 6 at this track, beaten two lengths after covering ground and being steadied, but he still did not finish closer than midfield. His Rosehill run prior was also below his best after racing wide from the 700m. The 1000m record is strong, yet the current form pattern makes him hard to recommend beyond a rough minor hope. Can't entertain.
