SOUTHLAND (2) bounced back to his best last time out when just missing by 0.3L as the race favourite, running on strongly from the back. Turner remains in the saddle as he lobs here off a 92-day break. Form out of his last start has stacked up well and he can resume with a bang. BE MY BELLE (6) is another who comes into this on the fresh side, ending last campaign with a few good efforts over the mile at this track. Short of her best first-up, but she rates highly on her best form. Can play a leading role despite this being short of her best. UNDERCOVER SNIPER (4) sat handy and only just missed over 1100m here last time out and he should be fitter for that run off a short break. The slight rise in trip won't be an issue and he maps to get plenty of favours. Can go one better. LEONARDO DA GREY (1) will find this much easier today and ticks plenty of boxes lining up in this event. SALVADO (7) was impressive winning here fresh and can go on with the job.
