JUST PETTY CASH (6) is the horse to beat after a Northam third on heavy ground, where she was beaten three lengths by Secret Planet and now presents third-up with Laqdar Ramoly back aboard. Her easy Belmont trial adds to the sense she is ready to win. BLACK IRISH (2) is the immediate danger after charging into second at this venue, beaten a head by Beaumont Miss at generous odds. This looks to shape similarly to his last start and it wouldn't surprise to see him go one better. MT MAGNET GOLD (8) has been plain in two recent runs but gets a kinder assignment. Joins Tony Scally and had genuine wide-run excuses at Belmont. This is easier and an improved run is on the cards. ALASKAN NUGGET (3) resumes with blinkers on and can improve fresh, but he remains unplaced from ten starts and minor money looks the more likely target. SO I THOUGHT (4) faded fresh but can improve with the fresh run under his belt.
