SILVER LIVIA (2) is the top pick despite her long absence, having run a strong second at Northam in a CL3, finishing just under a length behind Magali Magic after covering ground. She trialled at Belmont Park last month, has a win and a placing from three career starts, and suits the 1100m distance well. ENCOSTA DE MONEY (1) poses a race-fit threat, having led to win a CL1 here by a neck against Blood Saint. Only rises 0.5kg off the last start win and things look to work out for him nicely despite coming back in trip. Can bring up the hat-trick. VERSAILLE (3) returns after a solid Geraldton trial and has a good track-and-trip profile, plus her fourth in Carnarvon deserves some credit despite racing wide. WEAPONIZE (9) finished just over three lengths behind ENCOSTA DE MONEY first-up and was hindered when third here before the break, suggesting he could place if he finds a better finish. CLEVER COMBAT (5) won't be far away.
