IN SITU (2) is the one to beat after returning with a well-supported win at this track, beating GILES by just over half a length and taking his record at this venue to four wins from five starts. His overall profile is sharper than most, with four wins from seven starts and Natasha Faithfull unbeaten on him in two rides. CATCH CARTER (3) has to rebound from a heavy-track eighth at Northam, but his prior CL3 third at Pinjarra Scarpside was sound. Gets a nice drop in class off a freshen today and he should get every chance. Can bounce back to form. SIMPLY ROSSO (1) brings the proven higher-grade form, having run third in a BM70+ at this track and fourth in BM68+ company at Carnarvon after racing wide. LUCKEE FLORAN (7) resumes from six months away with a comfortable trial win behind him and enough 1200m substance to be a place threat if ready. ARCHENEMY (5) was solid on resumption and can keep the ball rolling.
