FINAL CRUSADE (2) dug up to race on the speed then looked home for all money until nailed on the line by Boomtowns on debut over 1000m at Eagle Farm last start. Looks perfectly placed over the extra furlong and if he gets the start right he will be very hard to toss. BRAVE ETOILE (11) went back from a wide alley then went through her gears impressively to get up for third on debut over 1000m at Eagle Farm last time out. Flashing light run that day that - 1200m is the ideal progression. ESPERANZA (7) made a late charge from the back of the field along with BRAVE ETOILE at Eagle Farm and edged that filly out of second spot. Had race experience in her favour that day. A wide gate doesn't help - each-way the best option. BETTER BLITZEM (1) has won four from four at Townsville and Mackay, the latest an eight-length romp over this distance. Looks pretty smart and deserves her chance in town. EDDINGTON (6) ran a cheeky race on debut recently and will give backers a sight.
