Gold Coast Race 4 - Marburg Pacing Association July 26 Hcp (C5)

LEG DRIVE (1) started $2.45 in open company last start and did enough late to make it two wins from two this time in work. Back sharply in grade but has been clobbered by the handicapper. Improvement still to come at the third run back so he can overcome the 62kgs and win again. MOONSHINE RUN (3) scraped in over 1650m at Toowoomba two runs ago then struggled at 2000m last time. Back to a more suitable journey today and gets some welcomed weight relief after Youngberry's claim. Looms as a big threat. OLD SONG (4) turned in last position then swept home for an impressive win in a BM68 here at this trip recently. Finds a tougher race this time but on the limit she makes plenty of appeal. NOTES (7) has raced over today's course and distance at his last four runs and scored twice including last Saturday in a BM62. Drops 4kgs and should be in the finish again. MAD ANA (6) showed a glimpse of form at Ipswich last time and should be peaking at the fourth run back from a spell.
