Following up on DARK MARTIAN (9) with the blinkers going on despite him not being able to get the job done as fav last time. Was strong through the line there, so the added trip should suit him perfectly. Ready. VIENI QUA (12) has only warmed late in her first two starts, chasing in vain with the leaders off and gone. Should be hitting his straps now and if he can settle a pair or two closer, he will prove tough to hold out under the light weight. POISED TYCOON (5) was disappointing when sixth at the Gold Coast, but he had been placed at Warwick the run prior and his broader recent profile is stronger than many in this field. The first try at 1540m is the query but a much brighter showing is anticipated. QUARTZOPOLIS (6) appreciated the easier maiden assignment at Gatton and is at his top now. Can make his presence felt.
