DESERT GRIT (6) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 1100m at Innisfail. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to figure in the finish. TOW THE LINE (8) made significant late ground last start to get up for second over 1000m at Mt Garnet. Should be winding up late again. RAETIHI (4) was in contention on the bend and finished third last start over 1200m at Mt Garnet, beaten one length. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is one of the main contenders. IMPARDOO (1) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at Cairns two starts back then got the job done by 2 lengths as favourite last time out over 1123m at Mareeba. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
