A good contest. AUDITORY (1) resumed over 1300m at Hawkesbury, beaten just 1.2 lengths. Has to manage the outside gate, but won't have to improve much to win. ODIN'S EYE (3) made an encouraging debut, finishing 2.5 lengths back over 1200m at Newcastle. Sure to improve and has a low barrier and the blinkers on for the first time. Keeps Schiller and has decent claims. ZAMAZING (6) led and missed a nose over this distance at Wyong and will be further improved. Will jump and run from the inside gate and is sure to take catching. LONG LIVE (2) led on debut and just missed over 1000m at Kembla Grange. Tackles a longer journey this time, but she's in a top stable and expected to manage. BAQUEIRA (8) was only beaten 1.75 lengths on debut over 1150m at Beaumont (Newcastle). Has a sticky gate, but the longer sprint will suit.
