BRIEF AUTHORITY (9) resumes for his second prep after finishing fourth to Vantorix over the 1000m here last April. Strengthened over the break and fitted with the two sound trials. Kicks off in a winnable race from the rails draw. DELLUCY (7) resumes after her form dropped off at her last two outings. Ran a respectable second here last April and can pull out a big run fresh. SCRAMBLING (10) resumes. Never comfortable on the heavy (10) surface on debut when third over 805m at Coffs Harbour four-and-a-half months ago. Primed with the two trials and should be competitive today. EXIT STRATEGY (8) is back after a break of six months and now in the Tracy Timbery yard. Faded late after sitting on the speed in the heavy going to run last over 1100m at Pakenham. Back without a trial and should appreciate a firmer surface. Keep safe.
