CELESTIAL HERO (1) has been beaten his past couple, but hasn't been far away and his recent trial suggests he's right on song. Blinkers go on today with Bowman taking the ride. Needs some luck from out wide, but he's right on the cusp of another win and this looks a golden opportunity. SPIRIT OF PEACE (10) has been back to the trials since after not having much luck here last start when jumping the race favourite. Atzeni remains in the irons and draws wider today should suit him a touch better. Can build into the race and land the knockout blow. ACE CHAMPION (9) missed narrowly last time out in the same race as SPIRIT OF PEACE when closing off strongly. He's trialled nicely since his latest effort and if Kingscote can negotiate a wide draw, he can be in the finish again. POWER KOEPP (7) draws better today and can make his presence felt.
