Happy Valley Race 6 - The Hkex Tech 100 Cup (C2)
LE ZONDA (7) is the horse to beat after stringing together consecutive wins at this venue, most recently as a well-supported favourite when scoring by a head over 1650m. He's trialled well since that effort and the rise to 1800m is a big tick for his chances. Ticks plenty of boxes and can extend his winning streak. TALENTS AMBITION (4) brings solid recent form of his own, following a CL3 win on the All Weather with a second to Definitive 10 days ago. Out to 1800m now, but it looks to suit and a forward showing is expected on his last start effort. SILVERY BREEZE (5) was plain first-up behind LE ZONDA, but his prior CL1 third at Sha Tin reads well for this and Purton going on keeps him firmly in the mix. MASSIVE SOVEREIGN (2) was big odds when fifth behind LE ZONDA, yet he made ground from a long way back and showed some signs of life. He's a Derby winner who may be recapturing that form now.
