BOKUSHI (1) has made a bright start to his career, finishing in the money in both outings so far, including a strong second over 1300m at New Plymouth 18 days ago over 1300m. Craig Grylls picks up the ride, and his combination with trainer Robbie Patterson is a recipe for success. On top for us. DOROTHEA (5) continues to race honestly in this prep, and she wasn't far away when fourth at Matamata over 1400m a fortnight ago. The addition of blinkers could be the spark she needs to get the job done here. KINGSBROOK DIVA (6) had too much to do from the back last start over 1600m at New Plymouth but wasn't disgraced when battling on late for fifth. She can race closer to the pace this time from the pole position, and she can figure in the top 4 this time. WHAT NEXT (7) produced a solid debut effort when fifth at Pukekohe over 1400m 12 days ago, and she should improve with that experience. She has a good gate, and she is worth including. INCREDIBLE PATCH (2) is worth another chance.
