Hawkesbury Race 7 - Evergreen Turf Ladies Day Cup (L)

SANDPAPER (2) ran an excellent race first-up behind subsequent Golden Eagle winner Skyhook. Did work from a wide alley and dropped out last time in the Group 3 Alan Brown over 1400m at Rosehill. Draws the fence and the blinkers are back on - looks ready for a peak third-up performance. OSIPENKO (3) doesn't win that often but is usually up against the cream. Had a rare outing outside stakes company last time and worked home powerfully to finish a close fourth over the Randwick mile. Not sure 1500m here is ideal but his class will go a long way. CRISTAL CLEAR (4) raced handy but offered little in the run home when resuming over this distance at Randwick recently. Smart when right and from a good draw can improve sharply. PALTROW MISS (11) last appeared when third in the Queensland Oaks in June. Has won two from two when fresh and a couple of recent trials will have her right up to the mark. Market watch on FILTHY HABITS (7) off a long break for new trainer Bjorn Baker.
