Ipswich Race 2 - Happy 75th Birthday Graeme Sharpe Mdn Plate
HARRY'S MODE (3) has been gelded since leading for home but dropping off over 1000m at the Gold Coast a fortnight ago. Shows plenty of dash in his races and the recent op may switch him on at both ends of the race. Watch for sharp improvement. IT'S ALLABOUT ME (4) raced midfield all the way and never really threatened over 1200m at Doomben last time out. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and with an economical run assured from the good gate he is a genuine contender. NOZOMU (5) has been safely held in his two runs this time in work. Might be worth one more chance with the shades applied for the first time. PORTNOVA (10) closed strongly to get up for second on debut over 1000m at the Gold Coast last start. Poses a big threat over the extra 100m today. Kris Lees' first starter WINNING HARLOW (12) has been to the trials four times and from gate one should give a good account.
