Lerena sticking is another bonus. KING EMPEROR (3) is the obvious danger, having won his past two, most recently as favourite in a CL1 at the Sunny Coast after a slow beginning, and was a maiden winner over the track and trip the start prior. The wide gate is the only knock. ALL ABOUT ARTIE (2) is another last start winner and is the likely leader. Franklin knows him well and sticks. Will prove tough to reel in if left alone, though that doesn't look likely with KOBABILITY (8) engaged. She's chasing three straight after wins at Doomben and the Sunshine Coast. Will give a sight.

Placed at this track last start but was beaten just over six lengths in a BM58 and never looked a real threat when the race quickened. The Gatton second before that was stronger, when beaten only a long neck after being run down late. She does have track-and-distance experience, yet the modest winning strike rate keeps her in the improvement category. Not recommending.
