Istanbul Race 1 - Race 1
SOMEWHAT CLOUDY (2) looks progressive second-up after a debut win at Istanbul over 1300m 16 days ago and draws barrier 4. TOUCH THE MAGIC (4) comes off a maiden win at Ankara over 1200m and stays at the trip with H.karataş again. SHIMMER (1) has placed at both 1400m and 1500m at Istanbul recently and drops 300m, with solid track stats. From the inside, SECRET OF DRAGON (5) can be competitive back to 1200m after a 4th at 1500m last start. Something for the Multiples: TOUCH THE MAGIC (4)

Comes here 16 days after a pair of solid Istanbul thirds over 1400m and 1500m in TB company, most recently from barrier 8 carrying 57kg behind Native Blossom and Final Legend. Drops 300m with 58.5kg and a better gate 6, and her track record (7:1-1-4) suggests she holds her form around here. Honest profile gives her a consistent each-way look at this trip.

Made a winning debut at Istanbul over 1300m (TB) 16 days ago, leading from barrier 1 under 57kg and defeating Orbital Flame. Rises to 58.5kg second up with a slight drop to 1200m and draws barrier 4, and already has a perfect track and jockey record (1:1-0-0). Solid claims to progress again off that first-up success.

Third-up and draws barrier 3 after breaking through at Ankara over 1200m (2Y MDN) 20 days ago under 57kg with H Karataş aboard. That win came second-up following a 4th over 1300m (2YF COND), and he remains unbeaten at 1200m and with this jockey. Well placed to hold form at this stage of the prep.

Returns to 1200m with 56.5kg after two solid 4th-place efforts at Istanbul over 1400m and 1500m, and draws the inside barrier. She owns a win at the track and at this trip, and maps to get economical run from gate 1. On a 16-day turnaround, a tidy showing back to her proven distance looks within reach.

Progressive 2YO with a 1200m Ankara 2Y MDN win last start, beating Konnichiwa, and now draws better in barrier 2. Earlier 3rd at Adana over 1400m in TB class and another 1200m placing at Ankara underline a sound juvenile profile at these trips. Sets up well off a 20-day break and a slight weight dip to 56kg.
