THE SCHOLAR (5) is the top pick after improving sharply to win a CL1 at Bunbury, where he travelled into it and put the race away by just over a length. That was his first try at the mile and he relished the extra journey. Maps for a lovely run again today and can repeat the dose. PLEASE MIZTER (6) is the clear danger off a dominant Kalgoorlie win over 1400m, having also run well at this track and trip two back. Back to the mile now as a fitter horse is a big tick and he'll carry no weight. Can bring up back-to-back wins. SPACE ACADEMY (7) comes back from Saturday company after being beaten four and a half lengths at Belmont, so this is a more suitable task third-up. Faithfull rides again and he can bounce back. BLOOD BROTHER (2) produced a strong fresh win here and looks ready to raise the bar again this time in work. Ticks plenty of boxes as he continues to work through the grades. WHAT'S THE POINT (3) is right in this stepping back in distance.
