LIFE AFTER LOVE (8) is a seven-start maiden who has spent much of her career in town. This is the weakest maiden she has contested. Safely held last time but in a race that has had four subsequent starts for four winners. Fitter for two runs back and gets chance to get off the mark. PRESTIGE ERICK (3) wasn't really fancied on debut but ran on hard to finish a close-up fourth. Improver and looks suited here. PRINCE PIENZA (5) ran a much better race last time and looks ready to win after two runs back. VADELLE (6) was strongly fancied on debut and sat behind the pace but never came on. Jockey questioned by stewards. Must have been showing plenty and may well improve sharply here.
