Kilmore Race 2 - Adroit Countrywide Mdn Plate
NISHIOKA (7) lifted strongly late on debut and only missed out on winning by a head at Bairnsdale over 1000m, and the extra 207m here should make all the difference. With the right run from a tricky gate, she is good enough to go one better. MISS GRAFF (6) loomed up wide when resuming at Ballarat and then just peaked on her effort, finishing fifth. This is an easier assignment, and she has sound top 3 claims here. HURRICANE GIRL (3) was runner-up when making her debut on the Ballarat poly track, and since then she has contested a couple of tougher fields, with mixed results. The blinkers go on for the first time, and from a good gate, she should be very competitive. Each way. SOUND BYTE (9) was put aside to mature after finishing fourth on debut as a juvenile. She will be stronger now, and starts from the pole position fresh up. With 3 jump-outs under her belt, she will be ready to rumble. LIPSTICK LEGAL (5) makes her debut from a wide draw, but should be kept safe in all combos.

Was well-supported at debut, came from midfield; 2nd of 9 in a Mdn-Sw at Bairnsdale on September 20 over 1000m, neck behind Kooralbyn carrying 55kg at $3.80. Should come on following that hit-out and looks the testing material.
