SHANGHAI VENTURE (8) will find this much more to his liking than the last BM70 she went around in at Caulfield last start. Even though last there, she was only beaten 2.5 lengths and the gun draw and 3kg claim bring her right into this. THE BANTAM (5) was a little costly last preparation but has been trialling the house down at Bendigo and comes up with the inside alley for the return. Boasts a win and two placings from four first-up runs. SNAPPY TYCOON (2) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but was pipped on the post here last start and only needs luck in running from the wide gate to play a key role. ANTISOCIAL (3) missed the placings when resuming two back then did a good job last start but found a couple better over 1000m at Corowa, beaten only 0.8 lengths. She'll be at peak fitness now and draws to advantage. SECRETDREAM (7) has had a gap between runs since changing stables but only needs to hold her form to be in contention.
