UNWAVERING (10) makes her debut from the Grahame Begg stable who has a good reputation with fillies. She has won 2 of her 3 jumpouts and is in the right race to make an immediate impact. MISS VERONA (6) had an excuse on debut as a juvenile and resumes from a spell as a winner of her latest jumpout at Flemington. A wide gate is no help, but if she starts, she becomes a top 3 threat. BETTER BY FAR (1) has finished runner-up in all of her 3 starts in Sydney and has since joined the Melbourne arm of the Waterhouse/Bott stable, who had her winning a jump-out earlier in the month.
