TRIUMVIRATE (5) was well-backed in a metro maiden on debut but failed to flatter, after which he found his way to Lindsay Park. Had his first run for that camp in a rich maiden at Albury, closing off well to be beaten less than a length, which looks good enough form to measure up here. Mark Zahra riding from gate two certainly isn't a negative. TSAVO (6) is another who started life in NSW before coming to Victoria and after two nice placings for the new stable he found the Emerging Stars Final a little bit rich last time. Placed in two jumpouts since and can make an impression first-up. COL KLINK (1) also resumes and will find this more to his liking than the VOBIS Gold Carat, when he was only beaten 4 lengths. FEAR THE IMPACT (2) never really looked likely on debut but has been given three jumpouts since and should be ready to run an improved race. ONLOOKER (4) is on debut but has run top two at all four jumpouts, including a win at the latest, so could show up with blinkers on.
