Las Americas Race 1 - Mdn Claiming
BARBARITO (2) 2yo first starter sired by Friar's Road for trainer R Rojas and drawn nicely. Watch for a sign in the market. MYSTIC FRED (3) Tidy effort when 3rd last start at the track. Jockey G Morales Martinez and trainer J Vazquez work well together. Winning claims. BAD BOY (6) Was competitive when 2nd last run at this venue. Rates well in this race. PHANTOMAS (1) Disappointing outing when 6th last start here but having second career run. Drawn beautifully. Dropping in distance. Place makes best appeal.

Was $3.75 and not up to scratch when 6th last start around here but was on debut last time. Has drawn to do little work. Can't back with any confidence.

Tidy effort when 3rd last start at the track. G Morales Martinez and J Vazquez are consistently competitive when paired. Will go close here.

On a short back up. Started at $7.00 and disappointing display when 6th last run at this venue and down in trip. Will be tested.
