WOLF JUNIOR (3) improves at each run this prep and should be peaking at the fourth start of the campaign. Tackled a similar race here seven days ago and was narrowly denied. Making a habit of picking up minor prizes but he looks a terrific chance to break the drought this evening. Sparingly raced five-year-old FUEL ON THE FIRE (1) has been in the money at all four runs this prep. Settled on the speed then boxed on well for third, beaten 0.7 lengths by WOLF JUNIOR, here at this trip last Friday. Looms as the obvious threat. OUR PEPMENARTIE (6) went close three back over 1200m at Hobart but has struggled in shorter races since. Gets to this distance for the first time which might be what the doctor ordered. BELLA CHINKARA (7) didn't get a strong mile here last start. In the placings at four of six attempts at this trip so expect a better performance. SIR WILLIAM (4) finally broke his maiden here last time out. On-pacer who can give backers a sight.
