Launceston Race 2 - Mayhem In The Mounting Yard Nov 20, Book Online Mdn Plate
MISS STRAT (9) made up a lot of late ground when finishing fourth here last week, and if this race has not come too soon for her, then she can have the last say, especially if the tempo is genuine. NINE CHOIRS (10) rattled home late for third on debut and was less than a length from the winner. She has an extra 100m to travel this time, and her first win is not far away. Just don't expect another fancy price in this. ROLAND VIEW (11) weakened late off the top here a fortnight ago and will be better suited this time from a superior gate. Stick with her on an each-way basis. SH'BOURNE RISING (13) had an excuse for her poor run in her penultimate start and bounced back to form here last time out. She will be sharper now and can figure in the top 3 again. WARRIOR SON (5) was brave when finishing fourth on debut over 1100m, and he only needs some luck from a tricky gate to be a top 4 threat again.
