Laurel Park Race 1 - Race 1 - Mdn Claiming
DR. BROWER (7) Initial appearance 3yo by Vekoma for trainer Arnaud Francois Delacour. Watch early betting. PATUXENT (2) Finished amongst the placegetters when 2nd beaten by just short of 7L last time at Timonium and gets a favourable draw. Will be motoring home late. Winning chance in what appears a suitable race. REBEL PRINCE (4) First up after 13 weeks and finished 2nd first up last preparation at Colonial Downs. Coming back in distance. Hoping that the added weight won't hurt. Winning hope. MANTUA MAN (3) First up after 69 weeks and placed 3rd first up last preparation at this venue. Will be positive in the run early. First start for a new trainer. Has each way claims. Something for the Multiples: TOTAL MISCHIEF (6)

Jumped at $14.00 and gave away some ground when 8th last time around here but drawn the rails. Will be giving the leaders a big start. May find these too slick.

Was strong late when 2nd beaten by just short of 7L last time at Timonium and has a good draw. Putting a tidy record together. Stamps its reason for consideration.

First up after 13 weeks and tidy effort when 2nd first up last preparation at Colonial Downs. Will be facing a significant drop in distance. Up in weight. Worth a lot of thought in this race.
